Tampa, summer 1986. A late-night payphone summons Danny Moreno into the unfinished war left by Victor Kane. When a hunted boy arrives with a warning and a black ledger points back to Danny, Calvin, Becca, and Robby, the survivors of 1985 learn that Victor was only one piece of a much larger machine.

White roses mark the watched, old family secrets fracture loyalties, and a new director uses kidnapped children and fight tapes to turn Danny Moreno into a symbol. To rescue them and break the inheritance of violence, Danny must decide whether courage means landing the final blow—or refusing to become the men he is fighting.
The sequel expands Danny Moreno, Calvin “Fearless” Mercer, Becca, and Robby’s story into a wider conspiracy thriller about the damage people inherit—and the choices that determine whether that damage controls them.
