After a final reading for Elena Dragomir, fraudulent psychic Vivian begins seeing deaths before they happen—first her own, then the deaths of the people she loves. She can intervene and save the person in her vision, but death does not disappear. It redirects to someone else, often at the exact moment Vivian believes she has won.
Sleep-deprived and desperate, Vivian turns her home into a fortress and uncovers the betrayal that brought Elena’s curse to her door. The only possible exit leads through Carrie, the best friend who helped build Vivian’s business and hid the worst of their fraud. Breaking the curse may require Vivian to commit the one act that would prove she deserves it.
